Enhancing the body’s natural defense system/ Immunity plays an important role in maintaining optimum health.
We all know that prevention is better than cure.so
the herbal combination is made from natural herbs with curing properties.
The following self-care guidelines for preventive health measures and boosting
immunity with special reference to respiratory health.
I) General Precaution:
1. Drink
warm water throughout the day.
2. Daily
practice of Yoga, Pranayama and meditation for at least 30 minutes.
3. Spices
like Turmeric, Cumin, Coriander and Garlic are suggesting in cooking.
II) Daily use Ayurvedic items:
1. Take
1teaspoon of Chyavanprash i.e. 10gm in the morning. Diabetics patents should
take sugar free Chyavanprash.
2. Drink
herbal tea / Kadha made from Tulsi (Basil), Cinnamon, Black pepper, Dry Ginger
and Raisin - once or twice a day. Add jaggery (natural sugar) and / or fresh
lemon juice to your taste, if needed.
3. Half
teaspoon turmeric powder mix in 100ml hot milk – once/twice a day.
III) During normal dry cough / sore throat:
1. Steam inhalation with fresh Mint leaves or Caraway
seeds can be used once in a day.
2. Clove powder mixed with natural sugar /
honey can be taken 1-2 times a day in case of cough or throat irritation.
However, it is best to consult doctors if these
symptoms persist.
